You could. Firewall swap is not yesterday's news. Front half clip will do the trick.

vin swap is when you replace the vins with a usdm counterpart.
firewall swap is called a rhd conversion it wouldnt be considered authentic jdm. just as if you were to get a itr front end on a usdm teg.

k just to let you know.
(sorry for the off track info)
couple of ways of importing cars that are less then 15 years old
1. vin swap (when you swap the vins of a counter part car built in north america)
2. conversion (when you buy a jdm car import it and then put everything of it into a north american counterpart including the rhd)
3. dealer plate (drive the vehicle with a dealerplate but the car cannot be sold for it to be driven on candian roads until 15 years old)
4. student visa (if your a student from another country you can bring your car into this country and drive it)
5. parts car (buy the car in two pieces) then weld it together and use it for a track car or something which i highly DO not recommned.
6. (this is what i am doing) buy two cars from japan of the same make and model. get one car in two pieces with all the parts on it and have it shipped and then get the second car which will be a completely stripped bare shell and then have it shipped. this way you will save alot of money on taxes and wont have troubles at customs. then get the vins from a candian counterpart and then swap it onto the shell and then reassemble all the parts from the two clips you have
sry for the offtopic.

Yes, the VIN from an USDM car onto an imported vehicle. I get it.
But under what condition will this work? Because your car is wrecked and you need another car so therefore you can buy another one and re-VIN it?
Sorry for the off topic :P
