Honda "Something new is coming"

Diesels make more sense then these stupid hybrid vehicles. How many do they reallt sell? Id take a torquey diesel over a hybrid anyday.
I think he still does, but he usually wont say anything online.

Depends, if the hybrid system is done properly, meaning a fully electric vehicle with only a small gas/diesel range extending ICE (internal combustion engine) which only drives a generator that sustains state of charge to achieve a significant range of travel and the electric drive motor has enough guts for decent performance (like the tesla roadster), then I'd drive it.
The other thing, power to weight is extremely important for performance and fuel consumption. It could be the ugliest car in the world, if it's power to weight ratio is extremely good and handling is good and aero is decent, that's more important than looks, imo.

That just doesnt sem right. My Si weighs a little over 2800lbs and a new Insight weighs a little less. I cant see the CRZ which is supposed to be smaller weighing the same as my car.
Maybe it's disinformation Honda is spreading. The CRZ will have a K20 and weigh 2200lbs.

You are right though... All the current available hybrids are garbage and not worth the money. You're better off buying a vw tdi or other cars with available diesel engines.

Production CrossTour in disquise
I like it so far. 4 doors and a hatch suits my needs perfect. One for me and a CRZ for the wife.
It even looks a little like a Porsche Panamera or BMW 5 series GT.

eeewwwww! not my cup of tea. Though it probably looks alot better without the black disquise coverings....still like everything else on the road.
Looks like they're trying to compete directly with the new toyota venza...because there aren't enough suv, crossovers on the road already!!!
IMO, car companies are trying too hard to compete with eachother, and what happens is we end up with 15 million look-a-like cars on the road that, even though they are made by different manufacturers, look almost that same, drive almost the same and have very similar performance. It's becoming all the same crap!
accord=camry
civic=corolla
blah blah blah blah blah....
This is why I like older cars, pre 2000 ish. There are a few exceptions, but for the most part, I love the older cars for the their smaller size, lighter weight chassis, modifiability, and the more mechanical connection the driver has to the vehicle itself (if you know what I mean).
