honda return policy??

I just purchased a part from Ideal Honda b/c I was in the area, it was the shifter rebuild kit, although now that i think of it, I think I'm better off going with a short shifter made by a reputable brand... will i be able to take this to another dealer and return it?

thanks

Most dealerships will say, you need to bring it back to the dealership from where it was purchased because each dealership is no longer a corporate location and is owned by seperate-private owners. However, if it is a fast turn over item that is being used all the time at a dealership by their mechanics or is something that customers will buy often, the dealership may honor the return and give it to you just to fill stock. My best suggestion is try going to a new or popular dealership. You're chances are higher there. The reason I say this is cause their need for the part may be greater than others therefore, they may give you the return. Hope that helps.

Cheers.
