It's gay. When I was working at Honda, we had problems with the system. It may be a re-vamped version now but, as far as I know, it's the same part and therefore same problem. Afterall, it's only a remote starter and not pager alarm...don't get it mixed up cause some customers thought they were buying a paging alarm when infact, it's merely a remote starter...definitely not worth $300 bux plus cost for install of which only Honda techs are qualified to perform which also means, $100/hour times however long it takes to install.

My 2 cents.

Actually the system other than being a pain in the *** to install has been very reliable. We have only had one customer that had a problem with the remote starter and that was because they had a bad control unit. And for 2008 Honda has adressed the installation issue by doing some pre-wiring and making the system alot easier to install.
