Phew...you made it seem sooo much worse...I guess mine was really bad... My bro's car had the same back in 2000...it was 7 months old, and got smashed bad...wasn't driveable = $5000 of damage. Hood, fender, grille, light, wheel, tire, susp, bumper, door....I think that was it...

It looked bad...It would have been worse if they had hit the drivers door but they just hit the front quarter panel. One of the guys at the shop pulled it out for me temporarily so the door wouldnt make it buckle anymore.

Good job.. If you ever have to claim something through insurance make sure its at least 2500 dollars or more.

Because if it isn't then the insurance company will get more out of it than you do.

Insurance costs me 550 a month.. If I did any damage to my car I would probably try to wait and afford it myself.. no need for them to rape me anymore than they already do.

same thing happened to my car last feb/2002, facking bastard hit mt front quarter panel and scraped my bumper.

the estimate was $700 from woodchester collision in erin mills, a pretty good shop i've used several times before. the honda shops wanted anywhere from $500 (roadsport honda, but they wouldn't paint the bumper for that cost only buff it out. they wanted $800 for everything) to $1100 (north markham). :fustrated

my deductable was $500, so it wasn't worth to claim it on my insurance i bit the bullet and had my car done at woodchester.

best advice is to get an estimate done at a good shop and see whether you can pay out of pocket. otherwise, you'll have to take it to the insurance company.

Sorry to hear about that... A suggestion to make would be...you could upgrade to fiberglass fenders, if you like that style, rather than going back to stock. I dunno what year and model of car you drive.

Also, perhaps people here would have some stock parts to help you out? if it's only cosmetic...it would be very easy to fix...just need the fender painted, and someone could installed it easily for you... I offer to help!

If the front fender was the only thing damaged i wouldn't be worried. Judjing by your avatar your car is black. If i was you i would buy a new fender they are about a 100 brand new wrapped up. And they come in black, it's a flat black though. Just put it on yourself or something. Or just drive around the way the car is and get a front end for 6-8 bills rather than spending that on a new panel + paint.
