I think the topic itself is very useful, and can help others.

Well then keep it I don't care. I'm just saying who cares about Honda recalls and stuff like that. If your car has a recall your Honda dealership sends you a letter. Which brings me back to my first point "USELESS".

I personally don't think those posts are useless at all. For example like you mentioned, the recall is a good post to have I believe. I no longer have warranty on my car, so I do not get letters from the dealer and it would be nice to know what's being recalled. That way I know what's wrong with my car and can get it fixed, even if its not with the dealer.

There's nothing wrong with having posts like that, they are related to Honda vehicles and thats what this club is about. Its about 'our' cars (mainly civics) If there's something that affects civics, it would be nice for everyone to know.

Yes, I agree some posts are useless, but not all. People are always posting up stuff about there day or just chit-chat, we can easily define that as 'useless' as well, but there's nothing wrong with that. Some people can relate to the post, let that be, but I believe there's no need to get all worked up over such a subject.

Anyway, main point is that I am not trying to offend anyone, but rather trying to express another point of view. That way we can see the situation from different views. Enjoy and have a good day.

No they don't always send you a letter. If it is not a dangerous problem they will not let you know just fix it when you go in for service,

Who cares about Honda recalls? I think people who own Hondas (aka pretty much everyone on this board) would care alot.

If your "NOT THE FIRST, ORIGINAL OWNER" of a car (any manufacturer) Then there is no way for them to send you a notice.....they only have the original owners info in their files.
I would love to see if you had to pay for a repair (from a non honda mechanic), that should have been "Free" if it was on a "RECALL" list. Most dealers would rather not tell you that a particular "repiar" was supposed to be free....they would just charge you for it. And if and when you find out, that it should have been repaired under a "recall"...all they would say would be "we didn't know about the recall until recently.....we will give you a discount on your next visit ,or two." That way, they are drumming up buisness and future work. That's how they stay in buisness.
