Help needed for H22 into Del Sol

Hi. I am in the process of buying a 1994 H22a. Oh, first is it a good buy or should i wait. Here are the specs. 1994 H22a,ecu, aem intake, exhaust manifold, driveshafts, clutchmasters clutch, but the tranny is blown. He is asking $1000.

Now, what do i need in order to install it into my del sol. Its a 93 s model. Everything stock except exhaust and intake. Is it worth doing the swap? I need info on everything, and i mean everything. Do i need to change suspension? What other parts do i need? Where is a good place to do the swap or can someone help me do it? How much will a tranny cost me? What kind of tranny will i need? And there are several other questions but i can't remember right now.

If anyone can please give me more info on this, or if someone has done this swap, please let me know. I am going this weekend to check the motor out.

Thanks to all.

i suggest you become a paid member and call altech he is probably one of the best at H22 swaps and he can answer any questions you have and get the tranny and other parts you may need to complete your swap.

Plz indicate the type of problem you had - we don't want ppl assuming things that aren't true.

a blown trany does not indicate a motor that s soon to go ....

I've seen many a 5th gen civic autocross car have second gear get stuck engaged..... enguine lasted through about 4 trany changes so far .....

Thanks for the posts, the pictures weren't really needed but whatever. So i have a bit more details about the engine. It doesn't come with papers, buts its in his car right now, and he doesn't knwo how many km's. What should i offer him, or should i pass this up and wait? Oh and how much would the installation be around? Thanks.

Installion is a bit pricey do to the fact that you have to cut stuff, weld in new mounts and more.

well, if you can't provide details about YOUR problems (we don't care about what you heard about others cuz it could all be bull****) then we can't take you seriously
