Help me torque my belt?

Hey... who here can help me tighten or torque my belt properly...
Maybe it's missing greese or something? Regardless... my belt makes a LOUD highpitch sound when my engine starts and I start moving when it's cold. I had Altech install my AEM Pulley.. and they used a new belt.. maybe they didn't tighten it properly or something.

anyways.. I had honda look at it.. and they couldn't replicate the sound so they couldn't do anything about it.

WHen it starts squeeling.. and I accelerate in neutral fast.. all I smelt was burning.. I don't think I'll ever do that again. It was the smell of my belt burning.

somebody help please? Who here knows how to properly tighten a belt on my engine and how tight you need to have it...? D17A1 engine.

they may have used a belt that's too long??? I'd have to see it to be able to diagnose it, but anyone that can wipe their own *** should be able to adjust the tension on a belt... the concept is mucho simple.

Why not go to Altech and have them fix it instead of making it seem like they do shoddy work?

Only when cold?

Check for moisture on the belt in the morning before you start it.

Then take it to ALTECH..

it's a new belt - shouldn't need belt dressing... I still say go straight to Altech for a solution.

if any WD40 got on the pulleys, that's what would cause such a thing.

when my alternator seized on the Prelude, I started the car and there was smoke everywhere - nearly started a fire it was so hot. I had the alt. rebuilt, and I reused the beat up old belt - NO SQUEAKS. You have NO idea how much torque those belts can actually hold, esp the ribbed serpentine belts.
