help find a shop to recalibrate mileage

hi i need help finding a shop that will re calibrate the mileage on my cluster

no its not illegal if you don't roll back the kilometers, and if i wanted to do that i'd just buy any cluster with lower mileage and swap it which is a lot easier.

I don t suggest doing this as it is illigal to tamper with it but if you must do it for what ever reason just take it apart and you find a washer you can pry away change the number and pry the washer back in place. I don t know if it ll work after as I figured out how to do it by taking one apart when I was bored but its worth a try. plus like you said getting the speed part of a cluster is easy.

its newer style cluster so its stored electronically not mechanically.

you have to change it in the cluster, as well as the ECU.. otherwise it will show up as tampered

the parts guy at the dealership said that the dealership cant do it, they just put a sticker.
oh well. i guess the sticker it is for me
