HELP!! drive shaft problem.

1990 mercury topac
went to get my brake flex line replaced.. old one was burnin up n smokin..
guy told me the driveshaft made a rattling sound on turns and i guess needed to be replaced....
he quoted me $ 200 for parts and $ 45 for labour.. Anyone know if this is a good price? .. or anyone know anyone that can help me out here..... ??

$200 for one drive shaft is a rip, the car isn't even worth that money. Usually you can get one for like $50 at a wrecker, the labour price isn't too bad. I had a driveshaft installed for $50 by a previous banned affiliate which I won't mention before they crack open on me. My advice is going to a wrecker and buying a used one and make that guy install it if you don't know how to do so but it's fairly easy to install it if you have a bit of hands on skills, I recently did one in my garage, not hard.
