integra type r front end will alone cost 1000-2000 dollars (with HID)

99 ctr front end will cost basically 400 dollars cuz all you need is the ctr headlights everything else can be used from a SIR or any civic from that year anyway.

those are the parts value.

Start with a 96 hatch, cheap right?

(Note: 6th gen Civic (EK) has "First Phase" and "Second Phase", also known as 96-98 and 99-00 year difference. CTR comes in both type so the front might will look different, but that is something she has to make the decision)

Exterior

99-00 Civic hood, bumper (CTR hood has the red badge, you can buy that extra and put it on)
99-00 SiR lip + grille (exact same part as CTR, so there is no need to pay more just because they are imported from Japan)
99-00 CTR fender, if you want the right location of the side markers, otherwise, buy the 99-00 Civic fender and install it yourself.
CTR head lights
Radiator support if the conversion is from 1st phase to 2nd phase.

Thin side moldings to replace the USDM thick impact moldings
Side folding mirrors (power or non power, that's really not an issue)
Rain guard as an option

Rear spoiler
Rear bumper lip
Rear badge (if you want to be picky, get the rear hatch door, I don't think CTR came with rear wiper, or maybe it was an option)

Interior

Steering Wheel
Meter gauge
Centre console conversion
Door panels (power or non power, that's up to her)
Recaro seats (ITR or CTR, red or black, that's up to her)
Back seats
Red carpet
Shift boot
Shift ****
Other misc. pieces on from the dash board

Engine

This one is easy, drop in a B16B

Suspension

CTR/ITR 5 bolt conversion with CTR/ITR wheels
CTR/ITR front red colour strut bar
CTR/ITR MC/BB
CTR rear sway bar (rear subframe needed or else upgrade the suspension spring rate, and add reinforcement)
CTR front sway bar (along with front LCA + Fork)

I am sure there are little things I have missed or might have been wrong about. If all she wants is the exterior, then that's not too hard to get and do. As for 5 bolt, its purpose is to secure the wheels better than a 4 bolt, but I doubt it is needed for most people. 5 bolt adds weight to unsprung weights and unless the car requires it, brake power can always be obtain via pads and rotor and caliper combination.

Then if she goes with replica stuff, that will bring down the cost significantly.
