I love my white EG hatch that I feel the need to buy a red EG too. When will it end, Will I ever be able to stop?

Personally I can't decide between 4th, 5th and 6th Gen Hatches. Initially I was obsessed with the 5th Gen. for about 3-4 years. Then, my feelings shifted for the 4th Gen. when my buddy got a Black '88 Si from his brother last year. I never really liked 6th Gen+ Hatches at that point, but gradually I started to like them more (the big *** was something that I had trouble becoming accustomed to). Now, however, I think all of the three above mentioned hatches are sweet. There are also 2 Hondas that I STRONGLY Dislike.

1. 1st. Gen. CRX (nasty, boxy, and the rims were DISGUSTING - the 4 circles in the middle)
2. 3rd. Gen Civic (Hatch/sedan/wagon??) - ugh

I really got hatch envy after seeing a 6th gen hatch, purple with a EL headlight conversion and rota sub zeros

One appealing aspect of the 6th gen cars is that you can paint the headlight housing black...that looks amazing. On the 5th gen it can be done too, but overall effect isn't there because of the frosted lights. Plus the 6th gen hatch just looks JDM with those big tails. At first, I thought those tails looked too big, but they've grown on me.

If I had to choose between Daquels or Fusions hatch or the 6th gen El conversion, I'd have a hard time choosing.

If I only had some extra money.

i can't wait till i get my hatch...
hopefully a 5th gen si.
they made the si hatch only in '92 and '93 for canada right?
in that case, what hatch models were available for '94 and '95?

As far as I can remember, the Si continued until the 6th gens were introduced (hatch experts can correct me).

You don't want to choose my car anyway, because it's mine and I still own it!

Ryan, James, hatch lovers. Can't believe it! Who woulda thunk it!!

Must admit, that black JDM hatch is cool, and I understand the appeal for racing, but the old civic hatch does nothing for me. Must be an age thing

We all have our biases and love our own cars. I admire everyone in this club who spends time and hard earned money on their rides.

FWIW: My Honda Civic Hierachy is:

6th Gen SiR Coupe (the ultimate Civic for me)
5th Gen Coupe (surprise )
6th Gen Coupe
6th Gen hatch
5th Gen hatch
SiR
4th Gen hatch
7th Gen Coupe (with apologies to our great Si Veloz)

The top 3 are amazing, 4 and 5 are fine, the final 3, well, let's just say thay are no my cup of tea.

Now, if we were adding Acura

There was no 6th gen Si hatch because of lack of sales dude. I guess the closest thing you could get would be the 2000 DX SE hatchback with all options. Good luck finding one though...
If ya really wanted to make it an Si all you'd have to do would be to drop in a d16y8. But why stop there? b16 baby!

My top 3 Faves are:
6th Gen Hatchback(Especially the CTR)
2nd Gen CRX (Gee, I wonder why...)
6G Coupe (NO matter if its Si, DX or SiR, same damn thing pretty much)

As for the 1st gen CRX, its ok, too boxy for my liking though, but I've seen some crazy setups in them things...

Go CRX! :firefight
