HADA TECH-EK B20 Swap - Sun Jan 7th

Hey guys. Time for another HADA tech session. This time we're dropping a blown D-series motor out of an EK and swapping in a high compression JDM B20. For anyone who has any interest in learning about how cars come apart and go back together, turn wrenches and learn how this swap is done, this is a great opportunity. There's more than enough experienced engine swappers on hand to answer any questions you may have. It's a great friendly atmosphere and samosas and coffee for all who attend. It's this Sunday the 7th. Should start between 9-10 and finish in the early to mid afternoon. All are welcome - experienced - nOObs - short people - red heads - spectators - free samosa and coffee lovers - whoever. It's at Discovery Auto Collision in Mississauga. Directions can be found on their site http://www.discovery-auto-collision.com/.

Hope to see some of you ladies out!

No sign up. Just come out and dress in your scrubs and be prepared for lots of joking around and foul language if any of the bolts have seazed.

I highly recommend these HADA sessions, very educational and fun. Hands-on experience is something you don't get everyday.

These sound like some fun events, anything you would like us to bring? donuts, etc?

We're working on Keith's car, so Keith is bringing the donuts, coffee and Samosas. You may want to bring some bottled water or pop for yourself, but that's about it. Might also swap out a tranny on my brother's car on the side if he can make it.

For the next one guys (if it works with my schdule)...I'd be happy to bring the dyno and do some before and after dyno runs.

Might as well see what a B20 is worth (compared to a bust D)

Should start between 9 and 10 on Sunday. I'm hoping Keith gets a chance to drain all the fluids the night before so we get just get right into dropping the motor.
