k guys listen to this b.s....last night at around 4am ish i was heading home from my girls house in bolton, i was going down rexdale blvd just passing hwy 27 in between 27 and martin grove when i see this mustang sjut pull ut of a side street at full speed and crank his wheel lose control and spin out, then he headed the opposite way of traffic in my lane so me and the cab beside me slowed down tryin to avoid being hit, he passes us then swings bac around jsut missin a pole and is comming back up behind us in ouir direction so i drop it down a gear and let it rip as well as the cab cuzz if we slow down hes going to hit us b/c he is obvisouly drunk and cars ewere approchaing in the opposite direction, by this time me and the cab r doing about 140ish and then ocne the opposite lane is clear i pull as far over onto the curb as i cna in the wrong lane and put my hazards on to get out of this maniacs way as well as the cab does, the durnk guys passe's us and hits a red light at rexdale and kipling and skidded thro the intersection then reverses like nothing going on, i get right up behind him reach into my back seat for my crow bar, we hit another red light and by this time im pissed b/c this guys gonna kill somebody and im ready to take matter sinto my own hands and fight hima nd take him down till the cops come, well what do i se behind us a cop i put my hazards on and flag the cop down and what does the pig do, he pulls me over,,,,i exited my car really quicly to tell him to go after that guy cuzz hes drunk and the cabie come and tells the officer the same thing, he tells the cabbie 'ok calm down and be on your way'....im like wtf r u lsitneign to us, he tells me to pop my hood, says my intake is illegal, my cars to low and thast hes gonna tow it cuzz my mufflers to loud thats y he pulled me over, i told the guy it was cuzz we had to floor it to stay out o this morons way, di didnt feel like losing my life toa drunk driver....the cops tows my car and gave me 1000 in tickets and dint do a thing about the guy drivng the stang, i gave him his plate numbers and he didnt do a thing...when they put my car on the two truck they scraped my car across the ground....guys isnt this ridiculous, he let a drunk driver go who prolly go in an accident or killed somebody last night, and who put my life in danger and then he pulls me over....we really gotta do somethign about this, its ridiculous cops aint doing there jobs like they should, there more focused on ruining our lifes and harrasing us then they r of arresting real criminals, there little bitchs thats y, theyd rather just harrass us, im really pissed, jut thought id share my two cents, so if anybody saw a primer grey 4th gen last night with sahved handles, rims, and tcc banner son the front/back and side windows that was ma ride.....cops these days r ridiculous and we all gottra do somehtign about this

the cop heard from both you and the cabbie the guy was being a ****, and ignored yer pleas..
see if you can find out the cabbies info too, he'd make a good witness..

also, find out if the cop has the certification to judge your car.. find out whether he is capable to assess the legalities/illegalities of your car..
w/o the right certification you coulda told him to bite when he asked you to pop your hood..

Sorry to hear about that. Im glad you were ok, and that stupid drunk driver did not end you life. But honestly that cop had no say to impound your car and give you a 1000$ ticket. You obviously had to speed to not get hit, and the cab driver said the same. I feel you were treated in justicely, and you should honestly take it to court. Honestly, i feel you pain man! Thats just absolutely ridiculous.

i would of called 911 , and reported this idiot asap , even after u got towed etc... and tell them that constable ### is not doing anything about it , go in to the local division, and explain everything ...

yah it'z best to file a complaint.....but also u shoulda called ur local division at the same time and told them what was happening, while that cop was feeding u bullshit about ur car......usually it'z best not to go to court for the small things, because of the repercusions that can occur i.e. cops following and looking out for u within that certian division...........but this is big.....so report it...do it up.......lawyer time for u......and check if ur intake is w/e approved check everything take pictures...yadada if u know for a fact that some of the mods are not illegal and those will get thrown out in a second...........oh **** wait u said ur car is impounded.......holy ****.......yah wtf.....haha but u got the starts of a good case...so ur set....cause yah u have a witness......don't always blame the cop for being a dick though.....think of the stuff the cop has probably gone through within that day.....they go through a lot of ****.....but yah sorry to hear about that man..........

I would have dialed 911 in front of the police officer before the car was towed. At first I was reading this and thought, he's fucked, its his word against the cop's. Now that you said you have the cabbie's info, if you can collaborate with him as to what happened, you should get off, and any damage to your car as a result of the towing should be fixed. Make sure that there isn't anything on your car that is illegal. If you want to take this all the way, hire a lawyer. Even if you have to pay good money, you should be able to win. I've read a lot of people complaining about cops and their tickets, and yours is the only one that can be justified.

my intake is a.e.m and im pretty sure its not illegal, arnt only c.a.i's illegal? he said my cars to low....the edge of my tire sits right at the edge of the fender, iv seen some ppl runnin round witht here tires fully tucked into there fenders, im more mad about how he let the drunk driver jsut leave and didnt do a thing about it meanwhile he could of taken my life or somebody elses...
