I hope you were able to make it home by a decent hour. I want a swap too, any pointers on what you did to kill you engine so early.

What happen when you run with no oil, why don't you just sell the old engine for the swap?

Jeff, how did this happen. I thought honda engines were bullet proof. I put mine through hell and back and it never wants to give up.

Hrm... How did your engine blow up dude? I too thought Honda Engines were pretty much bulletproof.

I told you all those times you left your engine idle with A/C running would hurt it in some way, shape, or form!

I say GO NUTS! Don't just go for a little swap. Go for the motherlode!

bastard.....i was hoping my car would do that...i drove it for a week with the engine oil light on, thinking that the oil level couldn't be that low...i pulled the stick....bone dry. i was subconsciously hoping it would blow so, i could then tell my dad that i needed a swap.

jeff, hope you get your car up and running soon with a DOHC VTEC.

Well it was cold last night, but I was inside my car waiting for the tow truck. Tow truck came at around 2am, hooked him up, and we went home. I had to get up early this morning to play chauffer

Im sure you feel sad, deep, deep down in the guts leaving behind the D16....but then you'r getting the H22 that you always wanted!

That was my original plan next year, but alas, the worst already happend to me!

good luck!

edit: To blow your engine up, read Cantonagod's Signature, im pretty sure that'll do it, redlining through each gear, downshifintg right before redline, or hell, downshit so that you'll hit 10K RPM...!
