GTA speed Shops
Hey guys (and girls) just wondering if you could recommend some
local performance shops in the GTA or Woodbridge area (with reasonable pricing), it seems that performance parts are alot cheaper in the states, even when duties, shipping and exchange are factored in. I'd really like to keep the money flowing into local shops and businesses, but not when they charge so much more than online (U.S based) stores. comments anyone?

There's loads of shops in the GTA. Some are pretty reasonably priced. You gotta remember that the price of a part isn't necessarily just the dollar value on the sticker. Dealing locally you might pay more, but you're dealing face to face with someone that (hopefully) will always be there to solve your problems, help show you different choices of parts, look after warranty, etc. When you deal across the border the only thing you might gain is the price you pay. The first time they ship you the wrong part or you have a problem or you have to exchange or warranty or whatever, the costs make it a disadvantage. You're better to pay a little more and deal locally. Find a shop that's convenient and looks after you and support them.
