GSR vs SH -> The Outcome!

You will NOT get an H22A Installed for $4000 into an EK.
Especially if you're NOT doing the labour yourself.
EK Mounts cost a lot more than EG mounts.

Engine will be about $2800-$3000 CAN with linkage.
Mounts will be anywhere from $600 - $1000 depending what you buy.
Then take into consideration, new clutch / timing belt / water pump / spark plugs, wires, cap, rotor... YES, you will need those.
Another say $500 for the crappiest ****.

Oh yeah, new hoses, belts, replacement sensors, another $50 - $250 depending on what's broken, OR breaks.

New drive shafts and Mid shaft.. Another $450?

Good luck... Don't waste your time, you'll be hitting $6000 once you actually get the swap done remotely properly.

Thanx for all the info guys, but just out of curosity...how much would a COMPLETE B16A2 swap cost with all the parts/tranny labour and P/S...A/C??

$2500 for H22A with ECU and tranny
mounts for EG $250 from our affiliates section Teknotik.

B16A2 $2600 with ECU and hydro tranny. mounts $100

so H22a is pretty much same price as B16A2 and the H22a would kill it with 45lb-ft more torque and another 30hp

what do you want out of this? when its all said and done are you gonna be tracking the car, or have any real solid reason why you want more power, or is it daily driven. If it is don't spend alot of your money on it, you will regreit it when your done.

It's gonna be a daily driven car from now on yes. There is nothing wrong with my current engine its just slow and i always wanted to do a swap, i dont street race or anything but i just want a bit more power under the hood. Everything else i wanted ive done, so why not...while i have the money for it might as well do it you only live once haha
