actually i can fix my own car, and if it breaks oh well iv gott he cash to take it to a shop and have it done. i just feel 100% more secure knowing a shop did my work isntead of me maybe doing a half assed job, besides my mechanic is a family friend and charges me beans to work on my cars so it usually only vcosts me a bit more to have it done by him then for me to take time out of my shedule to fix it. Last cscs event i blew the clutch out of it, and next time around im thinking maybe im gonna go through some axles due to running slicks and most likely spray.

i ran a 14.4 and that was with no vtec, 175 winter tires (spun till hlfway through 3rd gear) and a slipping clutch that didnt hook at all and fianlly blew.....the caras gone a 13.8 all motor b4 and high 12;s ion the bottle by a previous owner...with the car all in proper shape now, on spray and slicks yes the axles have a ncie xchance of breaking...think about it.

and that 14.4 was no spray, untuned,no vtec, no traction, horrible clutch, and running lean due to the chip i had in the ecu.

im actually just getting used to driivng the car as well, when i took the car to the track that time i had only had it for about a week prior so i was still kinda getting the feel for it and jsut now am kinda gettin comfortable with knowing where the piower band is and how to make good use of it. im hoping for mid 13's on the slick all motor and high 12's on the bottle but well c what happens.

With your setup if everything's tuned, with slicks expect somewhere in 13.8 range. Even in a light car such as a CRX I doubt you'll break 12's with nitrous.

im excited just reading this......

noq since you bought that CRX, wouldnt u think that car would be ABUSED???

look at that hybrid combo u have... ANY FOOL in there right mind would kick the **** outta it, especially with that....

but you my friend have taught me a valuable lesson.
1. watch out for swapped cars,
2. dont buy other people's JUNK...

but hey since my 16 second SIR was from a honda lot with a 55 year old owner before me with ever single little and i mean LITTLE stuff worked on......... i know my car has been babied..

but like i said before TO EACH HIS OWN

^ not anywhere did i say the car was not abused, its been abused and still does, i drive it hard at the track, when things break they get fixed, no big deal, the cars been raced many times as thatswhat it was built for was speed, it ran strong then and still runs strong now, oparts break u fix them nobig deal, sicne iv oswned it iv blown the clutch out of it and replaced it. i bought the car knowin it was abused, see to me it dont matter cuzz a) anythign breaks i got the money to fix it, b) i was looking for somethign quick that i didnt have to do much to c) pretty much any swapped car u buy has been raced and beat on, so it doesnt really matter.yeah rcbh and those guys beat the hell out ofthem but they also fix them right and have them tuned. chigga i dont care if a 55 year old owned your car, thats good for u, u know it was babied but when it all comes down to it its still a 16 second car that is not gonna be worth much is a few years.
