i never mentiond show, i said "clean" theres a big diff

your car could be 100% stock but have imaculate paint, at least that shows you care about the appearance your car has, unless your a slob.

its true guys always have more respect for rust buckets with built motors, but who do you want to attrack, guys or girls?

nothing wrong with guys if thats your preference

^ if u need a car to attract girls/impress them then your def a loser with no self esteem or self confidence. I'm not saying you are just commenting on your comment. nothing personal

my point is, your car is an extension of yourself

so how others look at you, whether it be how you dress, act, or how you take care of your posessions says alot about you.

There are lots of guys that have the function over looks, yet their car still looks amazing and has the power to back it up as well.

Case in point, JSK, his hatch is one clean car, not a show car just very clean, and he has plenty of power to boot. Then there is freaks like Neil and Marty who keep their car spotless at all times, it just shows you what kinda person they are.

its just two different ways to looking at your car really... i'd rather something i can boot around and enjoy... rather then something i can sit waxing and buffing all day and look at

the sad thing though my car had no rust until i got rear ended and the body shop spend $3500 and did a total hack job and 1.5 years later rust all over the place

as a side note though my car isn't used to to pick up chicks either... cause again its just a civic... your can keep it clean as you want with fresh paint ,body kits and rims... its still just a civic... a cheap mass produced car that runs forever

i drive the civic cause its cheap to go fast, reliable and has never let me down in 4 years... i would rather have a cheap car that is fast rather then an expensive car that is just as fast with worse handling...

like its just a car i dont even know why this is such a huge problem... i dont use my car for anything other then getting me to work and occasional spirited driving... and having it clean wont affect either of those... so whats the point? i already said i dont use my car to pick up chicks or to improve my image... so for me i gain nothing from having it clean... just less money in the bank for more important things

For those people who have seen my car....Looks close to stock on the outside by the paint is in near mint shape. I myself perfer go then show. So save your money from those body kits and ground effect lights and put some coin into the motor. Then you have a decent looking car that is fun as hell to drive.

well a camaro for instance would not handle anywhere near even a stock civic... a wrx would probably be close but its still a much bigger and heavier car...

if your getting that retarded reading my posts stop reading them why do you have so much vested interest in what my car looks like anyways? it'll carve corvers around your new car and mid september will smoke it in the straights... is that why? a cheap looking car will be faster then your new expensive one??

just cause you can justify buying a new prelude does not mean everyone can... sure i could afford to lease a new sti if i wanted to but why? so everyone can look at me in my car and think wow he must make a lot of money to afford those payments... or worse whats he doing in mommy's car...

Why would you want a big heavy car like a prelude anyways, my car will eat a prelude alive, an still looks better an handles better then that car ever will.

Awww...thanks... By the way matt i blew the piping right off the turbo the other night while we were tuning it abit...Good thing it was still hanging there, and also that is was only a 10 dollar fix for some heavy duty clamps.

oh god you think a stock civic handles well?

my ears they hurt from this mis information

this has nothing to do with me buying a car, I could care less, I have owned a civic and loved it to death until I started getting problems with it.

if the civic handles so well stock why do people add sway bars, bushings, reinforcements etc to help improve?

I try to ignore your posts but they infiltrate the board so much its hard to ignore them

well i improve handling cause its relatively cheap to do and you get a lot out of it.. i think a stock $3000 civic will out handle most anything in that price range... unless your comparing that civic to like porsche or something

if i'm so full of miss information though just trash everybodies thread i post in then we can continue these nice discusions about rust and its effect of owners personality

or maybe this is an admin tactic to get me out of the club just after i paid renewal too.... but i guess if moderators are allowed to trash other members and there cars that means we're all allowed to now...
