I got hit and run'd today !! :cry:

some sonawabitch drove into my car and didn't leave anything for me to contact him/her !!

I got hit at pacific mall, if anyone witnessed this, plz let me know, any help is appricated !! my heart hurts..... i can't get over it..... why me?? WHY ME ~ :cuss: btw, i parked at pmall near the kenndy entrance !! and i will post this on other forum as well, hope i can find a witness on this..



here is a pic, anyone have any idea how much this is gonna cost me if i wanna fix it up ?? any good place to recommand?? coz i dont' think i will claim the insurance.... i don't want them to leave me another record..... :cry:

From what I can see it's only the fender and not the door.

You're probably looking at 600+ to fix that. I wouldn't go through insurance.

Does your door still open properly??? I don't know if it'd be cheaper just to replace the entire driver side front fender or try and bang it back out... I would imagine it'd be cheaper to replace the entire thing.. besides... it would look cleaner that way.. but you'd have to get it repainted.

to BPBSI : no it wasnt' a custome paint, it came with the car... maybe its the lighting condition that altered it a bit...

yea... the door still opens properly...


anyone know where i can get a fender like that?? coz i know dealers will charge an arm for a fender.......

and anyone know a place that will do nice paint job for good price?? i want it to be good so the paint don't fade after a few years....

I would ask around the accord forums and see if anyone parting out or perhaps they got hook ups; then get it painted and slapped on. My Ek fender cost me 90 bucks...100 to paint and about 50 bux to mount.....but you can prolly mount it yourself and save some loot.

yeah luckily it wasn't the door...else you would've had to replace that and get the hinge re-aligned

That's how my car was when mine got hit awhile back. Not as deep as yours though. They were able to pop out the panel so it wouldn't damage the door (opening & closing) but it cost me about 500 to fix I didnt bother going through insurance.

you can get the fender for under $100 and if your handy put it on yourself...yes its that EASY

The entire problem is that you parked at Pac Mall... Cripes, it was prolly some loaded SUV that didn't even feel it. I always avoid parking at Pac Mall if possible.

Were you parked in that same spot? If yes, it was because of that.

I've seen it myself, as well as others with me, that people don't look when they are backiing out of other spots.

This is one of the biggest reasons why I don't park on the ends.

Sorry to hear what happened though.

As for the repair.....the fender would cost between $100 - $200....if you find the same colour.....no extra cost......if it's a different colour, an extra $100 - $150 to paint it. If you are handy with tools, you can install it yourself. It's not that hard.
