I haven't priced a motor in a while but I would thnik that is a tad high for a 1st gen. That motor is probably close to 13-15 years old so keep that in mind when you think about a purchase. Regardless of it's milage, it has been sitting for a while and may have some internal damage as a result of that wait (gaskets, seals, etc.).

For first gen'rs you may be better off getting a beaten motor for half and rebuilding it before you put it in your car. Then you know it is fresh and good for a few hundred k's.

yeah that is wayyyyyyyyyy too much..
you just might need the Si resistor box, but even that shouldn't run you too much. 1st gen b16's are cheap nowadays.
i can PM you somewhere to go if you want.

Never buy an engine if you can't look at it first.
