is this a good deal 4 a 93 civic?

hey guy im thinking of buying a 93 civic cx hb with 243 000kms for $1500 the body is not in the best shape thow its got dends and lil bit of rust. It needs paint job 2000 bucks to fix every thing with the boddy .. car runs goood thow 5 speed, has a exhust on it to what u think

sounds good, I almost bought (actually technically I did, but things didn't work out in the end) a 93 EX fully loaded with keyless entry/alarm, minimal rust, 300k's for 2g's

yah take it to a mechanic, i bought a car thinkin the body wuz ok, but my dad took it to the shop and he found alot more, but im lucky cuz he can fix that without me payin too much, so take it to a shop and make sure u know wut ur gettin into

1500 sounds too low.. buying AS IS or Cert/etested?

I'd say if anything is wrong, the clutch is gonna be the first thing to give you problems, then tranny..

make sure you take someone that knows about these cars to check it out first.. sometimes a sweet deal can turn into a disaster..

1500 + 2000 for paint, I'd say just buy a decent condition 93 CX for $3500.

yea im going to get my bros buddy to come see it with me on sunday to check it out he knows about theres cars.. yea so its going to end up costing about 3 gs with the new paint he said he can hock me up with cert and e tasted 4 like $120bucks even if it does not pass ,,, and go from there hopley i can save some more money and get a sir swap in the car. thanks 4 your help evey one

ok well. with the etest if he can pass that then sure.. but do not let him fake a certification..
