getting my rims off

alright so after getting my car painted this year my mechanic put my wheels on for me and lost the key for my lug nuts..ive gone to a few wheel shops and no one has it..what can i do??

yeah read that thread. I destroyed my locking socket last night. 19mm and 25/32 12 point sockets with power bar in 1/2" drive and a hammer did the trick.

The guys at Defcon/ART can hook you up, if you don't want to do it yourself and other shops are saying they can't do anything for you. Call (905) 709-7744 and ask for Joee, tell him Derek sent you.

I had a similar problem yesterday. Taking off my summer wheels for my winters. While working on the last wheel I screwed up the threads on the keyed lug nut. If figures as it was the last lug nut to get off. The last time I use an extension with my socket wrench on lug nuts that are stuck.

Just like what other people are saying, he's got this socket set where he just hammers a socket onto the keyed lug nut. It grabs it and you just unscrew it like you normal would. I was in and out in like 5 minutes.

they probably have the key for you and take it off without damaging anything.

You set was not unique, it was mass produced

i got it off yesterday...wasnt too bad at all...just used a torch and a hammer and hammered at socket on and it came off first try..thanks alot guys
