Thumbs up Get your terminology straight

Correct terms and what they mean to avoid future confusion. If you know some terms, please advise and share.

---------
VTEC (not vtec, v-tech, v-tec, Vtec)

---------
Coilover - coil spring over shock. So all your Honda suspension is called coilover. Echo has a rear shock separated from the coil. If your coilover can adjust dampening or height, or both, then it is called "Adjustable Coilover". If your coilover cannot do either of those, meaning, it is an identical suspension as your OEM Honda ones, just with a different spring rate or shock diameter, then it is still called Coilover.

TCC Guest - those who browse without an account

TCC Member - those who browse with an account

TCC Paid Member - those who browse with an account and has submitted their 30 dollar fee

---------
Authentic vs. Replica
If a part on your car is authentic, then mentioning the word "authentic" is optional. But it is replica, please mention "replica". A replica is a direct copy of the original item.

---------
Fake
Fake means a replica with original badging designed into it. For instance, fake LV bags, fake Bride seats, fake Honda B.A.R. crew shirt... etc

---------

Feel free to add some more. If my terms are incorrect, I apologize and please correct accordingly.

Thank you

how about this...

exhaust

- The whole exhaust system, including (in the order from the engine back): exhaust manifold (aka headers), primary oxygen sensor, catalytic converter, secondary oxygen sensor, B-pipe, resonator, more B-pipe, A-pipe, muffler.

midpipe

- common term for the piping between the rear axles and the catalytic converter.

header-back exhaust

- Exhaust system up-to-and-including the catalytic converter.

cat-back exhaust

- Exhaust system up-to-and-including the B-pipe.

axle-back exhaust

- Exhaust system including the muffler and the A-pipe. Typically ends with a flanged connection to the B-pipe, roughly around the rear axles.

It is Header, not Headers. Unless you are referring to more than one.
