Last night, Friday, went out and filled up my car with 94 octane. it was 149.8(128.9 regular) and cost me $40 for my eg hatch. This morning went out and the regular cost 134.9. Good thing I visit this site.

This is no new news, it will hit 1.50 very soon, if you watch the news you knew this a week ago, if you are in the top business society you knew this many months ago, and if you are a ceo or the elites you made this happen.

This is just the process to slowly convert people to buy fuel efficient hybrid cars, and to accept new technology, and when the majority shows this need, the people in power will officially allow commercialization of fuel cell/hybrid or whatever its called technology.

It's funny to see people gasp over such an issue, when it was inevitably clear it would happen, everything is business does not happen with chance it happens because someone made it happen.

You guys are complaining about a 4cyl civic, try filling up a twin turbo Porsche.lol It doesn't really hurt me, but i hate knowing i could be paying less at the pumps.

they save that much times that in gas so they can afford to pay 5000$ to get it back because it will acutally work out to be cheaper for the ye\ar

I'd say price of gas will not go down significantly. This buck something per litre is here to stay.

And it'll inevitably keep going up because speculators on the stock markets keep buying oil futures and driving the price of oil up.

I wish I had some oil futures in my portfolio...

Full Tank @ $1.34, about $108. At this same rate the car drives about 680km with absolute no aggressiveness. Driving at high rpms and fast will be about 360km every $108. I don't know what it would cost if the prices were 1.15 a ltr, i just started driving it, and now im looking to buy a civic for a DD.

This is a civic club, we drive some of the most fuel efficient cars on the road. We shouldn't be complaining. Plus there's nothing we can really do about rising gas prices.
