about 450km on my ef back in the days..... 70% highway 30% local, not bad...

but habits matters sooo much.... i had to go in and out of london picking up my gf before... i drove 180-200km/hr into london at night and 160-180km/hr back out.... couldn't even get 350km... i had to fill in some gas half way when i was coming back out...

i always fill up when i have 10 litres left since thats when the nozzle cuts off and the milage is usually around 420 or so, no point to drive on fumes id rather fill early..

In my 99 Si, I get between 450km-500km. That's with 75% city and 25% highway driving.

I drove to Niagara Falls a couple weeks ago and then a ton of highway driving in the days following and got over 600km on that one tank before I got scared and filled up!

A ton more.

You're killing your gas milage by going so far over 100km/h. Your revs are probably hitting 4500+ rpms at that point and despite the fact that our little Civic engines CAN do it, you won't be getting the usual Honda-grade gas milage. Try going 100km/h or maybe even 120km/h, on the highway with your next tank of gas, I think that you'll be pleasantly surprised.

You guys shouldn't be going by take to figure out gas mileage. You should fill your tank until the pump activates its little safety mechanism. Then drive for however long, Refill it again just as you did the first time, Check to see how many litres you pumped then divide that by how far you's traveled. Generally I got about 12-15km per litre

but isnt fuel consumption greater when the tank is closer to empty? doesnt ur car run more efficiently on a fuller tank of gas?

actualy, wouldn't your car run better on a less fulll tank since it would be more weight for your car to lug around when its full

i think an EF tank is between 35-40... i recall filling somewhere 36 or 37 L.... not sure why... but that's what it says on the receipt...

and i think the first half last longer than the 2nd half of the tank is normal.... i remember someone said in this forum that the needle isn't accurate, when the tank is less than half remaining, it only shows half a tank is killed on the gauge...
