I think it suxs because what about those people that have to drive for work? I'm an onsite computer tech so I'm driving everywhere....I'm gunna get bent over by the tax system
LOL...I have to drive everywhere too

Pretty soon it will just make more sense to stay home and be on welfare.

My intent is to leave Canada so I'll have an actual chance to prosper. And yes it will be to the US, things differ there state to state, just need to pick the right one (avoid west coast).

well if they tax you based ont he number of kilometers you punch in to renew....you can easily avoid that by mis reporting... so long as you don't go to sell the car you'd be fine.

basically you by a car new and only enter 1000 km's in per year. eventually down the road you'll have hundreds of thousands that you've actually put on what do you do you send it to a junk yard. no sale of the car means no transfer of ownership and no problem... you just got around the tax.

one good thing about the government so far is they are going to reduce income tax for 2005 thats a great thing first time in a billion years lets hope Canada continues to reduce the income tax.

you have nothing to worry about, the government wouldnt do anything to hurt the economy, so you would proabbly get a rebate or a get by free pass, cuase what would happen if ever computer tech. said okay if you wnat your pc fixed you gotta bring that **** to me, imgaine if a business had there whole system crash.
( or yo could just add the driving tax as part of the bill and make even more money, by slightly juicing it up)
