so i'm looking at about maybe 5g's for everything...... minus engine and about the..climate control dash change etc... etc.... do i need to buy the whole thing as in heater block.... and all that stuff? or do i just need the face plate? and will it make a difference? for example the way the air comes out yadda yadda? ty

7 + 5 = 12g's. You could easily buy a very nice 2000 Si for that much and save yourself all the hassle.
Anyway, here is a great DIY dash swap from H-T.

well sirs came with a DARK gray interior, so u would need the whole dash if u want the sir thing, as well as yes SIR(99-00 civic) came with electric climate controls, and 96-98 came with the ghay puller lines, and yes u need to change the heater block and blower and all...

All of the SIR's I have seen have a dark charcole grey interior including the door panels, seats, carpet, everything. The gauge cluster and all of the dash lights are amber instead of the greenish white that non SIR's have. It's alot of work.

i say all you should do is the front end ... leave everything else.. save that money and go on a hunt for the uber rare 96-98 OEM rear lip ... then use the rest on engine mods... with teh money ur saving u could probably get the sir motor instead of all that other crap u wanna change... heater console i mean wow u must be made of money thats a plain old waste of money mod .. get an in dash put in looks way cooler and u wouldnt look like an idiot saying " look at my 99-00 dash its soo cool , it used to be a 96-98"
