FRS radios: Niagara Cruise

Of the people going to the TCC NF Cruise event, how many have an FRS radio? We'll be using these to stay in contact during the drive down there.

I have an older model.....but it still works beautifully!:nods:
And I just love the scramble mode.....sound like the airport talk (only another FRS like mine with the same features would be able to hear what I was saying......if not, all the hear is weird noises.)

I'm thinking about getting one but not sure about the 38 subchannels....
maybe just the 13 channels is good enough?

Sunshine 16-Jun-2002 11:11 PM

if anyone needs one i have one you can borrow since im not allowed to go on this outing. :(

Jugglez 16-Jun-2002 11:21 PM

You can come. :) You just can't drive that Neon, not that there's anythng wrong with Neons. I mean what kinda Toronto Civic Club cruise would it be if we had Neons, Integras, Preludes, Tiburons, etc, etc. ... :D

imported_Slvr-Bullet 17-Jun-2002 12:41 AM

38 sub channels here too. But still don't know how to use it :p
