' could i get a ride from the Y '

Next time, I'll read carefully.

I'll pick you up at the Y by 5:45....If you need a ride from home, just call me.

James, could you be at CC by 5:45? If so, we should not have a problem for 5 or 6

But on a serious note.. did it sound nicer with the silencer on or off? Did it sound good to begin with?

That would be a "I didn't like it, but if you like it, that's all that matters" response.

Just curious... When I have my silencer off.. the muffler doesn't get quite as hot... HOWEVER.. when I put my silencer on... the muffler gets so hot.. it melted part of the rear skirt (a bit)... and even melted part of the metal silencer!!!! Should it do that???

The rear skirt melting I can understand, but the silencer??? I'd be concerned about that.

well... tomorrow i'll test it out by putting the silencer back in and seeing the temp.

i took the silencer out after 30 mins of driving and the thing burned my finger... it was like touching a HOT HOT HOT stove.

Hot enough to melt the metal silencer?
The rear skirt has a bit of heat damage.. I guess it doesn't matter too much cuz it melted enough of the skirt that it doesn't touch anymore.
