Fram Sure drain

Anyone ever use this before?

http://stlouismtb.tripod.com/suredrain.html

Just wondering if its worth the $20 at CT?

They also have OBDII code readers at CT for $149 save $100

looks like a good idea........ for $20 you cant go wrong......

the guy who did the install on that site complains that it takes forever to drain ALL the oil.....

hold an empty bottle upside down........ how long are you going to get the smallest little trickle of oil coming out?

Now if they can only come up with a way to get the oil filter off without to leaking all over me, the engine block, and the drive axle....

Looks interesting, but I prefer my $5 CT magnetic drain plug from CT.

Ed, you can always take the oil filter off by popping the hood and reaching behind the motor.

JSK, the intake manifold is in the way of the oil filter from the top... from underneath is sooo easy.

loudsubz, dont' bother with it, what's the point?? Magnetic is better. Another useless product at CT. As for the code reader, that's an awesome price... I bought one online for like $70 USD plus shipping, so the CT one is a good deal. However, mine is more flexible since it runs on a laptop, so I can upgrade software and whatnot.

This is not the case on my B series motor...

Perhaps your forearms are thicker than mine.

Yea I got mine out from underneath the hood too, it just requires some creative arm bending
