Forza 3 Tsukuba Lap Attack/Battle
So I'm posting this here in the discussion section instead of the chit-chat section because it has more to do with cars, even though it is a game.
In japan, all the rage right now is lap attack/battles. You all know what it is I'm sure... Basically each tuner/driver builds a car for a certain class etc.. and tries to set the fastest lap time. I'd LOVE to go to japan and actually compete, but obviously, that's not going to happen. At least not anytime soon.
Tsukuba ciruit in japan is one of the most popular tracks for these events. It's used to test many cars from stock to wildly modified to full-blown race cars. In forza 3 I use this track to test, tune and setup ALL my modified vehicles. It's got a bit of everything, short of elevation changes.
I love seeing how quickly I can get each car around this track, just like the lap attacks they have there in japan.
So I'll stop blabbing and get to the point: Lets start a TCC Tsukuba lap attack challenge.
Post up your vehicles, mods, and lap times. Let's see how quick you can get a specific car around that track.
I'll post up one of my recent tests as a template:
Car: eg civic hatch
Mods: full race tires, suspension, brakes, lvl1 weight reduction, sport intake/exhaust, light flywheel, street transmission, everything else stock.
HP: 148
Weight: Around 2000lbs.
Class: D-3XX(can't remember)
Assists: All turned off!!! Manual trans.
Best lap time: 1:04:093
PLEASE be honest. If you are on xboxlive, we can check to see if your lying...lol. Also All assists should be turned off (stability management, traction control, auto braking, abs braking, racing line...ALL OFF). Not only do I find the assists only drastically slowed the lap times, this should come down to driver skill and vehicle setup to make it more fair and realistic. The only exception is you may use auto or manual shifting.
My xbox live name is "FormulaMPR". I don't go online often so any records you see for me are probably very old...lol. I'll try to get online soon to update my lap times.
Thanks for reading.

^^That's ok, it's all about havin fun in the end.
Just to make it as realistic and challenging as possible and more down to the drivers skill and vehicle setup, thats why I said to turn all assists off. Damage isn't such a factor cause it's only lapping (one car at a time).
-----------
Post up your fastest fwd, rwd, mid-rear, awd etc... Let see what kind of times you guys can run on this track... I want to see if I can beat these lap times using the same car/mods... hehe.

Here's one:
Car: Honda S2000
Mods: Everything, except engine limited to NA with only race intake/exhaust and flywheel
HP: 308 (NA)
Weight: Full reduction ~2200lbs.
Class: Don't remember
Assists: All off. Manual trans.
Best lap time: 0:59:xxx
Was trying to beat the real life fastest NA S2000 to lap tsukuba which did a 58.something (can youtube it) with roughly the same hp, but the real car is even lighter than I can make it in the game... So I think a second off is pretty damn close...lol.

The Ferrari FXX is nuts. Was dialing in the suspension last night, did tsukuba in 51 seconds! lol. Don't know if I can get anyother car to beat that (any street-car). My zonda is close... in the 52-53 scond range. Needs a little more tweeking...
