There has been talk of it, I believe it slows down the site according to Duy.

The database is queried EVERYTIME a thread page is loaded to pull in the info for each active forum for the jump box. This is in addition to the queries already running to get the vital parts of board displayed. Multiply that by 150-250 users who are online most of the time and you can see why it would slow it down.

That's not to say the dedicated server we're on couldn't handle it, I haven't gotten around to testing it but if it possible I'll put it in.

Anyone going to the meet today (9/19)? I'll try to make it out.

Thanks electronblue for fixing my name.

SiR_YO, we gotta talk about some "benefits" that I can help with some of your customer's.

(BTW, SiR_YO doesn't work for Honda, he works for a HONDA DEALER....Ed's paystub doesn't say Honda, it might say "Mississauga Honda" but not Honda or Honda Canada...)

Whoever was asking about the 4-door Si, it's already up on Honda Canada's website...

So, when is this going public?

cool Mark.. shoot me a message on MSN too.. I'm usually on when I'm home... there's never enough "inside" information directly from the source...

sorry I just say I work for Honda cuz it's easier and faster to say than "Mississauga Honda"
