Hmmm? If we do post up the fastest street legal Civic, are you gonna start some kind of argument that Stangs are faster and blah blah blah? Cuz if you are, then don't forget, that the times we're running are with a 4 cylinder and are mostly 1.6 -1.8 litre cars. Civics running 12's is a very respectable time, especially coming from a 4 banger with less than 2 litres. There's really no comparison because the 2 cars are in different classes. If you're gonna compare, then you might as well ask, will your Stang keep up with an F1 car?
But...if you're not asking to start a debate, then sorry for jumping on your back so fast.
I just find it weird why a Stang owner would ask a question like that, especially on a Civic board.

Since my buddy's buddy told me he saw at 9 sec civic at the track and i don't really believe him.

My stang doesn't have any mods and I'm not really interested in starting any arguments. I just want to know what a civic can put out.

By the way if you like have N2O on it i would still consider it street legal. Just like not have huge *** racing tires and stuff like that so the cops stop you.

Then I'm sorry for what I said earlier. You just gotta understand that there are a lot of fools out there that like to compare cars and times.

Anyways, yeah, there are a couple of 9 second Civics in T.O.
One belongs to Serge. A yellow one that was built by Altech. Not sure if he's changed colors recently. I don't think that car is street legal, but I do know he drives it out on the streets from time to time. There's also a few in the 10's. I would say the majority of street legal Civics would be running in the low 14's on average.

Correct me if I'm wrong people.

I'm not sure...haven't timed it yet, but I would assume mine would do high 14's to low 15's. Still waiting for my turbo, then I'll go run it.

Hey, can't Stangs get good gains on just a few bolt ons?

If you haven't done your suspension yet, the I suggest you do that first before dropping in a Cobra engine. Actually, I think suspension should come first on any car.
I would assume those engines go for quite a bit of money since it is rare, correct? I guess your best bet is to search the net for one.

That's what I thought. I guess you just gotta keep looking. Better yet, stop looking, cuz for some reason, the best always comes when you're not looking.

I'm not a Stang guy, but that is an interesting fact. All this time, I thought the Cobra motor was a more stronger version of the GT motor.
Hmmmm? Mustangfiend...might as well just keep your motor and spend the money on a turbo.
