Well, considering the difficulty of the swap (not a drop-in application) and the specs of the motor, no!

any of the b16a, b18b, b18C1,b18C5, b20b would be a much better choice, since they are all drop-in applications (for Civics 92-00).

H22 is also very desirable, but needs a bit more work to fit in (motor mounts are required: Enjo makes them).

But F22? Hmm.... Nah....

if you want to do it you'd be looking at needing the H22 mount kit from Hasport... (or something like that)

the engines can be found for cheap they are slightly lighter then a h22 and have a nice torque curve to them..

I say go for it....

don't waste your money..

If you're going to go through that much difficulty. installing the shifter and everything, you might as well go for the H22.

Well considering that the F20C comes out of a rear wheel drive s2000, I'm assuming you are going to have to transverse mount it, mate it to a completely different transmission, unless you want to take the entire s2000 drivetrain and cut a big trench up the middle of your civic for a RWD conversion. Then try to link up all the electronics. You would also probably have to make a custom intake exahust system as well.

If you have over 20 years of custom fabrication experience I'm sure it's nothing you couldn't pull of in a couple of months.

Is he running an open header then? That car sounds like fun. Hmmm... I wonder if it cost more or less to build than a 1999 BMW M coupe (34000 on autotrader ) , which would be essentially the same car, i.e. 240hp rwd hatch, except with a warranty, and luxury, and a better chassis, and not all hacked up, and better handling, and crash tested, and .......

Yeah it's a cool idea but come on.
