Don't pay for ****... Tell tehm to fix everything or your going to consumer rights. You don't have to take that ****!!! You paid for service so make sure you get what you paid for.

Good luck....

sry that wont hold up at all. since they can say that for the amount he paid thats the service he gets.
so it would all depend on the amount charged compared to others etc...

i paid $2600....and i think its enough for them to make a good job......when you look at the car it's nice but when you know whats underneath that bodykit and custom paint makes you want to beat someone up...

5 layers of paint and 5 layers of clear coat...

the more layers you put on the bigger the chips will be from stones chips and other road debris

What kind of warranty did the shop offer if any? Do you know of any others that had the same problems. I hope you stick it to them.

I can understand your frustration...but, understand this, after your car was painted, did you let it rest at home for at least 3-5 days? If not, most likely, your clear coat didn't cure properly and being it's the front bumper, you're liable to get stones hittin' it...hence, the chips. Even after you bake your car after it's been painted, it still needs time to cure a lil. I hope the shop told you that when you picked up the car. But, I have to agree, welding a sheet of metal over the rust IS very improper of them...I'd be flaming too. Unfortunately you didn't discover this earlier...like when you picked up the car. Because most shops will not guarantee rush will not form on the same spot again. It's impossible to know when it will form or even IF it will form. But, ya man, my advise is to really stick it to them...if they told you one process and they do another, it's very unprofessional of them. They should take responsibility for their work as we do.
