I was surprised to see that too. I saw it on the lot at the rental company and I thought it was an employees car. When I asked about it the lady told me that it's a rental.

The price was as much as renting a top-of-the line sedan, but IMO worth the money, especially since my company was paying for a rental anyway.

Mike, performance-wise I too agree that your car is better, however, can you imagine how cool it would be to actually have a nice Type-R here in Canada, especially since nobody has this type of car here?

It would definately be cool, but Honda would probably charge us 35g's for it.

The Mugen Si Sedan that was sold in the US was 10g's more then a normal Si. And for what? Body kit, wheels and a suspension kit.

I dont think there are many people that would pay almost 40g's after taxes and stuff for a Civic.

The thing looks like a rice rocket bottom line. They took the styling back to 98 with the ridiculous body kit. If you think this car was built like the typical Type-R that where use to, checkout the episode of Top Gear with the 2 Type-R hatch backs going at it. EP3 owns this car.

You're right.
That's the whole idea of the Civic, lower price (cheaper), reliable car to get around.
But I think it's natural for a car to progress towards something more and along with that, the price progresses as well. lol

I'm with ya on that. The price of the Mugen was just ridiculous, and all you were getting was rims, skirts, and suspension.
