Just to clear things up .. LS/GS/RS/ all the same thing..
personally if you have the cash, find an LS, slap on a gs-r tranny with ITR flywheel + a nice clutch, and you'll be extremely happy.. or be adventurous ang go b20 (crv) and slap on a vtec head later on...
If you are really tight for cash, jsut get an d16z6.. probably only a couple hundred bucks if you buy it off the board here...
if you have any q's.. just pm me.

Even an LS, you gotta get a B series swap kit which would be mucho $$$.... So, that's gives you a pile of D-series options, from mini-mes to outrught D16Y8s. I'd decide NA or turbo first, then build whatever is suitable for that.

ZC, made for the CRX afterall. But you know how I feel about the ZC.

Otherwise go for a d16y8, since its newer or a d16z6.
