Emmission Papers
is there any way of getting the emmissions history for a car...?? like if the paper was lost and the e-test is still valid??
any help would be great thanks |
Try going back to the shop that completed the test :shrugs:
most shops can only reprint one of the last 10 runs they did... otherwise you ahve to get it re-tested
thats what i figured...
Wouldn't the MOT have records in there data base?
the shop sends the results to MTO right after the test, MTO will have it in their data base
but the question is.... will they give it to me, lol
ill have to check it out... i dont think i can do it over the net so ill call the MTO when i get time this week if anyone works there and can help me out, let me know thanks for the input ppl |
papers
i think it cost 15 bucks
to get new papers remember it's government |
but it is possible then ....??
The best thing to do is give the MTO office a call.
i am gonna do that when i get a chance
the mto doesnt keep records that they give out.
from what i know. only thing u can do is go and get it redone. unless your selling the car or purchasing a car that had its emission papers done recently and depending on if its odd's or even's this year in terms of what year make the car is you might not even need one. i am 95 percent sure |
yes u can get a copy
u need to fill out a form i dont remember who i called to get the form |
Hey Brad, did you have the test done at CTC>
nope, it was done by a previous owner but i know its still valid
if you can get the1 800 number off any emissions slip they can give you all information needed over the phone ... as long as you knwo your own V.I.N lol!
but can that be used at the MTO for vehicle transfer?
