Wouldn't he had just bought a civic and did a trunk lid swap with the tailights?

no, the interior would still be different, also the y8 engine in a 4 door

new pics with lip and grill mod. thanks for the lip suggestion guys, i love it. i'm gonna leave it black so it matches factory side skirts.

now i gotta re-seal the drivers headlight again, for some reason didn't fully seal after painting headlight housing gun metal grey

I would say paint the sideskirts and take the lip off. The lip would flow better if it's painted, too. I find that the front lips originally designed for the civic don't seem to look the same on ELs.

anyone able to do a photoshop of what it would look like with both the lip and sideskirt painted. i think the black looks kinda cool, also i'm painting the brakes silver, so i don't want it all to be silver. i've always loved white cars with black carbon fibre lips/skirts thats why i'm thinking keep it black. plus the silver of the brakes will stand out alot with the dark rims.

goldbage, i had to modify a tiny portion, i cut away alittle material on the part that goes inside the grill area so the lip is perfrectly flush against the bumper. but ya, i bet it would look slightly cleaner on a civic...but if i had a civic it'd be a hatch, and i'd be going CTR lip/skirts/spoiler/grill/lights (kinda like TEGO's)

I'd paint the brakes black. They're nothing special, so why try to show them off? but that's me.
