ek hatchback with b18c1 weight??? anyone?

ek hatchback with b18c1 weight??? anyone?

does anyone know the weight of my car???? or if they have a similar set-up what theirs weighs?


96 hatchback, b18c1, 12" sub in box in the back... not a huge box, just a ported ****ty future shop box...

... i tried man, but yours was broken down in the entrance... couldn't even get in... hahaha!!! jks...

but really...

i am prob gonna try one of those gps dyno things that my buddy has today and i need to know the weight of the car to be accurate!!!!

A hatch weighs around 2200lbs in stock form. The B-series engine and and the box/sub probably add about 100lbs.

how accurate are these things, he had it laying around in his garage and never even used it that much... nice day out, so i guess we'll give it a shot!!!

you just messing around???, or do they really have scales there... i could drop them some cash maybe to weight it exactly...

the swap adds way more then 100lbs

me and my dad almost broke our backs moving a b16 + tranny today

I thought I read somewhere that a B is only 75lbs more then a D. Maybe the tranny weight alot more.

man it felt like it was 400lbs

the tranny was still mounted to the engine

it was ****ing heavy as ****

i almost broke my knee moving it out of the van when it slipped

and thats not me in my avatar silly

im just talking about the actual weight of what i just moved

i dont know what the difference between the weight of two actually is though

yeah b series are like 100-150lbs more. but that's 100-150lbs more on the front end which is bad.

take your bathroom scale out to the driveway, drive on top of it and see if you can get a reading on the weight

i'm pretty sure a b16 is like 75-100lbs heavier now that I think about it.

And an h22 isn't that much heavier than a B.. 40-50lbs if I remember right.. I don't know if thats the longblock or the full swap
