EG Gas Milage

What are you guys usually getting?

I got a 95 Si, D16Z6, 312,000Km getting 510+KM on 29Liters of gas, or about 40MPG. Mostly hwy, but alot of times stuck on 410 (commute from Kitchener-Mississauga)

I think its damn good, what are you guys seeing.

^That's actually quite good, and exactly what it should be and what I'd expect an eg hatch to get.

My best record so far has been 705km to 45L gas (full tank) in my 2000 SiR with a b16a2, which converts to about 37mpg. I typically get between 600-650 per tank in the summer and 500-550 in the winter.

My old coupe, I would get about 500km to a tank. D16z6 that was. Now with b20 and a lot of "fun" driving, I get little less. Last time I checked, I filled 26L and covered 370km

Lucky you...my POS FA does 400-450km avg. with my in-city driving, which sucks *****! But on the highway I can cram in about 650-700km.

my lil' D15 only gets me about 380-400 on a full tank. once or twice saw it reach 450 with highway driving. i changed both o2 sensors before and ran a bit better but aftermarket ones don't last too long. thinking i need to find the right computer, but i heard it's hard to find (N)

Smiley, get a p28 or p06 and get a chip with d15b software.

Robert, it could be an old cat that's clogging up. Just a thought.

What motor is in the car? If it's the Y7, check to see if the exhaust manifold is cracked near the O2 sensor. I had this same problem and my mileage per tank dropped from 500 to 400 just because of the crack. Had the crack patched up and my mileage was back to 500.
