hey guys,

got a 93 civic coupe si and ofcourse it's rusting in the rear quarter panels. anyone know where i can get this fixed properly? but still a decent price? places in toronto?

are you mechanically inclined at all? if you are.. you can order new rear quarter panel parts to weld in to get rid of the rust. otherwise just find a local bodyshop; any should be able to do it good

sort of. i welded my own muffler on. but this seems like a bigger job. plus i don't want it coming bacl after 2 years. planning to keep the car. and also some paint. don't know how to do that at all.

if you search around google you can find a couple how-to's. what you do is cut out all the rust spots (so its all gone) then tack it a couple inches apart from tack to tack, then weld it the spaces and uses bondo and other things, but if your more confident with a shop doing it, check the phonebook i guess

can anyone tell me a place where they can do it? i would rather a shop do it. i rather pay to get it done properly now than spend some money to try and fix it myself then fail then pay alot more for a shop to do it.

dfnc: Rust is a slippery slope. I know a guy in a town called Bethany that did a good (not perfect) job on my car, but I could not beat his price. Damned if I could remember his name though... He races limited late models, if it helps. I would go to him if it's to fix rust and paint.
