Ya I know, I just didn't feel like posting the whole list so when nrg3k asked about the lightest one I thought I would post the heaviest too. Because some people think all ef's are lighter than all eg's which isn't the case unless you are controlling for trim level.

There are a lot of ****ty, battered, riced, and rusty EF's on the road I must say. I am starting to notice the same thing with eg's now as well. Im seeing fewer and fewer nicely modified and properly maintained EF's and EG's on the roads these days.

I dont really think there is any real answer to the question at hand here anyway, its all about personal preference i guess. Both cars are good in there own right.

k now that you listed to all the useless crap people have to post here is the real deal.

if your comparing an ed and an eh model and you wanna know which one is better its hands down eh.

why?
its easier to modify, you dont get issues like ground clearance with motor swaps, the swaps arent bolt on's or almost bolt on's, the suspension on it can be easily upgraded to integra models without alot of mods, the interior is more user friendly etc etc....

simply put the EH is better.

After all this I would say that well, neither is better. They both do the same thing eh... preference I guess. I liked the comments concerning the condition of both types these days... very sad but only natural. Maybe one day we will see mint civics for sale on some variation of the Barrett Jackson auction, going for 100k! Probably not but you never know... Thanks for the replies.

get a eg, but CX, no ps, no a/c... that **** is light, comparable to any EF

look wise, you wouldn't be too far behind when you're picking up a chick who is somewhat a lil materialistic hahaha.... if you drive in an EF, you're a lone driver IMO... its purely track...

but EG can still make you a bit better looking as a daily...

but i've driven HARD on both EF and EG, both a HB Si.... i still felt nothing handles like the EG even after i drive a tsx, rsx, ek, lude... EG RULES

i think EF's r the most reliable civics out there IMO i have ppl with 95 EG tht have rust spots showing from 100's ft away! but personally EF is a much more aggressive looking car then a EG all around if u think about it body wise tht is.

other then tht EF parts r a bit cheaper then EG and easier to find cuz not a lot of EG's r in junkyards in standard auto wreckers...

i think if u find a clean EF with low mileage then u should jump on it! but other then that most civics need body work to begin with to make them look like they should look.

Had a 92 CX, gutted too with rock hard suspension. Car was the ****... I was hoping the the EF would be the same. I have a 91 SI now, haven't driven it yet though. I agree with the scrapyard comments... whats the deal?
