Hey wut up guys i have a 90 hatch with a b16 i love to have my car lowered but theres only one problem my tranny is very low so it hangs about 2 inchs to 3 inches off the ground which has made me crack the casing already do u guys kno ne solutions to this problem either then highering the car??

are you saying that your car is stock suspension right now and your tranny is that close to the ground? If so better mounts would be an idea. At one time i had my car slammed (just a touch under 5 inches from the ground to the bottom of the rocker panals) with my b16 in a 91 and my tranny was almost that low.

well if ur tranny is that low at stock height u must have some chince mounts or something...cuz thats about where it would sit on a lowered 4th gen...a lower tie bar will sit lower than the tranny and u would bottom out on that first instead of the housing if u wanted to go that way

but what mounts are you using? cuz it sounds way too low for a stock height car

well he has a second gen b16 in his car we lowered his car this weekend the tranny is like 3 inches from the ground
