E-test ????

E-TEST ????

I was thinking off using

HIGH OCTANE GAS along with OCTANE BOOST from CDN tire...
too help with my e-test. what do you guys tihink???

i have already cleaned my air filter, got new plugs and just did an oil change.

any comments or suggestions please??

How about putting in regular gas.

Driving the **** outta it getting the cat hot.

Then getting it tested..

sometimes if the car is too hot it might fail nox. as long as it's running good shouldn't be a problem. I've tested some hondas with over 400,000 and they pass. should only fail if something is broken O2 , cat, EGR, things like that.

Do you even know what Octane rating is for?????

Do some research.

^ This is all you should do a few days or a week before an e test. Just continue to use the same grade or type of gas that you've been using. Don't add any cleaners to the fuel system or intake a few days prior as it could cause your vehicle to fail (anything that gets cleaned out comes out the tail pipe where the emissions are measured).

when i did mine last week i was afraid that it would fail....so i filled up with 94 octane (as always) added half a bottle of octane booster, and a fuel system cleaner. Then i drove it around for about a 1/2 hour and let it idle for 1/2 hour b4 the e-test....passed with flying colors!
