Drive Clean Question
Ok, I just bought a 1989 Civic for a winter beater, the previous owner bought it in the spring and certified and E-tested it then. I know I need to re-certify it (already done) but do I need another E-test to change the ownership??? Since it was only done a few months ago.
Thanx for your help

e-test certifications SLIPS last 6 months... however, if that slip is used to register a car which is then sold...the new owner needs a valid slip to register.
However, if the seller got it etested within 6 months and still has the slip - you will not need ot etest because they can give you the slip.
At the end of the day, you need proof...and the slip is the only thing that will work.
