i know someone who has

luckily he only got into an accident with a post

he lost his licence for 3 months at first, then spent 15g's and a few months through courts avoiding getting his licence being taken away for a year.

if you get into an accident and you kill someone, you can be charged with vehicular homocide.

drinkign and driving is plain stupid, and deserves even worse consequences that are offered now.

oh, by the way, hopefully one of the consequences is a nice quick death for the drunk driver, saving our society from any more of his stupidity

don't forget your insurance company denying your claim to get your vehicle fix. I think they might send you a bill for the other person health/vehicle/funeral cost.

If your still living don't forget your insurance rates after a DUI. Your new ride might be just a city bus/subway.

Hopefully you just kill yourself in the accident. It would be a lot cheaper in the end and rid the world of one less stupid person.

Amen, brother. In fact, I just got done screaming myself hoarse (well, typing my fingers numb, I suppose) over on another board with a moron who doesn't see the problem. Here's the link. I have a different username on that board, but my icon is the same.
