Domo kuns

Hi all,

I just got back to Canada from JDM land. I am however stuck in Vancouver airport for a couple of hours because my plane was delayed. Thank god for being an Air Canada Elite member. .

Anyway, I just wanted to mention that I was able to find Domo-kun. I bought 2 stuffed ones, just like the one Scott bought off of eBay and 4 small ones that can be attached to a cell phone strap.

If anyone is interested, please send me an e-mail (check my profile) and let me know what you think is a fair price. I don't know how much I will sell the stuff for but I wouldn't want to sell them at a loss. The trip wasn't free and there was some leg work involved in finding these things. They are not available at just any toy store in Japan. The stuffed ones cost me about $20 and the small ones were about $5.

Scott, if you read this, can you mention how much you paid for yours?

I will be busy on business again so, it might be a couple of weeks until I can check the boards.

Ed, if you send me an e-mail, I can tell you where I bought the stuff.

Mark

Coz he has to smuggle these Domo Kuns back into the country. He wants to avoid getting strip searched by customs.

Hi,

I got a pic. So far, I have one "real" offer for one of the small ones and two maybes for the big ones.

Why e-mail? - bacause I check it much more often than the boards. I have been pretty busy lately. I am now off to Thompson, Manitoba. Next week: North Bay and the following week Montreal.

SilverCRXSi, he's got both in the pic, the big ones are the big ones, the ones around the cell phone are the small ones.

It's probably because yopu have a small computer screen. You need a 21" screen like I do......then it would look like this.

(sorry about the low res copy, but this makes it easier and faster to upload that way)

It's a CRT monitor. It's a big bad mother f'er, and it's perfect for doing photo and movie editing. No need to squint my eyes to see things on the screen. (I had a shitty 14" screen before I got this beast.)

It was a gift from a TCC friend.

It weighs a hell of alot too.

19" LCD WOW Someone's a big baller.

21" CRT is probably a 19" viewable so they are almost the same size but really who needs a 21" Monitor THATS HUGE
