I just wanna buy a magnaflow muffler. However, there are 2 types. They are race series and street series. Can anyone tell me what's the different for their performance and how's their sound. Is the race series really loudy? If they are not much differentin their performance, i think i will get the street series one.

i'm pretty sure that theres not much difference in the sound, but in the race series is probably a bit better for performance because of the design in the exhaust in the way the air comes out easier or some siht like that

I don't they there's much difference.
If you want it loud then no resonator, if you want quiet then put a resonator in.

The only mufflers that flow amazing imo are actual race mufflers made by Edelbrock, Dynomax and even Magnaflow makes one.
These are normally small, cansiter style...similar to a resonator almost.
I'm going to end up with something like this on my Jeep when I lift it.

i have magnaflow with a resonator and its loud as hell... i prob wil be taking it off... its prob the race one iduno

the diff between the race and the street is...the race is complete free flow, where as the street isnt...on the street muffler the straight through design isnt completely smoothed out on the exit and there are more holes in the resonator section...and I'm sure there is prolly less resonating material inside the muffler...stick with the street, they are plenty obnoxious as they are

mine isn't straight there are angled bends through it but i can still see through the other side
